Retreat Policies & Guest Guidelines
Please review these policies before submitting your reservation. They help us provide a safe, clean, and Christ-centered retreat experience for every guest.

To help protect both our guests and the Retreat Center, a walkthrough inspection is completed before and after every reservation.
Before Your Stay

β The Site Manager and Lessee will inspect the property together.
β Existing damage will be documented.
β Discrepancies must be reported before the event begins.

At Check-Out
β A final walkthrough will be completed before departure.
β Personal belongings should be removed from all buildings.
β Trash must be properly disposed of.
β Buildings should be left clean and orderly.
β Excessive cleaning or damage may result in deductions from the security deposit.

Additional Charges
A cleaning fee of $75 per building may be charged for excessive cleanup.
If repair costs exceed the security deposit, the Lessee will be invoiced for the remaining balance.
Note: Debris includes personal belongings or other items left behind after departure.
Helpful Reminder
Please report any maintenance concerns as soon as they are noticed. Prompt reporting helps us address issues quickly and maintain a safe environment for future guests.
π΅Rental Fees & Security Deposit
All rental fees must be paid according to the reservation agreement. A security deposit is required to confirm and protect your reservation.
Rental Fees
β Rental fees are due when the Rental Agreement is signed.
β If DSCRC cannot provide the facilities due to circumstances within its control, an appropriate refund will be issued.
β Groups with fewer than 8 guests will be accommodated on the first floor only.
β Use of the second floor for groups under 8 is available for an additional $100 per night.
β Linen service (towel and washcloth included) is available for $20 per person.
Security Deposit
β A security deposit is required to confirm your reservation.
β The deposit must be received 10 days before arrival.
β Personal checks must be received at least three weeks before your event.
β Returned checks are subject to a $35 fee or 5% of the check amount (whichever is greater).

π Cancellation Policy
We understand that plans can change. If you need to cancel your reservation, please notify us as soon as possible.
Cancellation by the Lessee

Written cancellations must be submitted to the DSCRC Site Manager.

Cancellations made 7 days or more before arrival will forfeit only the security deposit.

Cancellations made less than 7 days before arrival will incur a $150 Property Use Charge.

βDSCRC reserves the right to terminate a reservation due to:

Unsafe conditions

Failure to follow DSCRC policies
Refunds will be issued only as outlined in the Facility Rental Agreement.

π Planning Tip
If your plans change, please notify us as early as possible so another ministry or church may reserve the available dates.

To ensure a safe, welcoming, and Christ-centered environment, we ask all guests to follow these property guidelines during their stay.
π² Respect the Property
Please help us care for God's property. Do not damage buildings, furniture, equipment, trees, or landscaping. Guests are responsible for any damage caused during their stay.
π§Ή Keep the Facilities Clean
Please leave all buildings, restrooms, kitchens, and outdoor areas clean and orderly. Dispose of trash properly, wash dishes after use, and help keep the Retreat Center beautiful for everyone.
πNo Smoking, Alcohol, or Drugs
Smoking, vaping, alcoholic beverages, illegal drugs, and firearms are not permitted anywhere on the Retreat Center property.
πQuiet Hours &β€οΈRespect Others
Please respect quiet hours between 10:00 PM and 7:00 AM so all guests can enjoy a peaceful and restful retreat experience.
Treat all guests, volunteers, and staff with kindness and respect. Harassment, bullying, profanity, or disruptive behavior will not be tolerated.
πΎ Pets & ServiceAnimals
Pets are not permitted unless prior written approval has been granted for a service animal or a special circumstance.
π₯ Campfire Safety
Campfires are permitted only in designated fire pits and with staff approval. Never leave a fire unattended, and ensure it is completely extinguished before leaving.
