Camp Rules
​The Camp Director has the right to dismiss any camper or refuse admission to anyone who, in his opinion, is deemed undesirable as a companion for other campers. No refund will be made. All campers are expected to remain true to the ideals and regulations of the camp. We are first and primarily a Christian camp and campers should strive up Christian values. Tobacco and drugs (including alcohol) are not permitted. Profanity is not allowed. In matters of dress, modesty must prevail.

Everyone is required to follow the camp schedule.

Every camper MUST participate in all camp activities and chores equally unless permission is granted by the director ahead of time.

No one may leave the campgrounds without permission of the Director

The use of alcohol, tobacco, drugs, and vape pens is strictly prohibited.

Sickness or injury must be reported to the camp first-aid technician immediately. Prescription drugs are to be turned in to the first-aid technician for distribution.

Automobiles are restricted during camp.

In matters of dress, MODESTY must prevail. Halter tops, short shorts, short tights or pants thin tights etc. will not be allowed. Wear always closed shoes/sneakers. The director and faculty must enforce this. See the Official Camp Dress Code.

Campers are discouraged from leaving camp for outside activities, such as ball games, etc.

Please do not deface camp property. It's your camp too--help keep it looking nice. Intentional damage or damage due to unnecessary carelessness will result in the camper being charged for damages.

Radios, tape players, magazines, comic books, etc. are a distraction to camp. The Director has the privilege of confiscating such items.

No camper is to be out of his/her dorm after lights are out.
-
Please observe the boundaries placed by the Director.

Food is not allowed in the cabin at any time; it attracts bugs and animals.
-
Telephone calls may not be made without the Director's permission.
-
Stay out of the camp kitchen except at mealtimes or given permission.

DO NOT push the beds together--it's a state law.

ONLY ONE PERSON TO A BED-it is state law
-
You get it out, you put it back; you mess it up, you clean it up; you break it, you buy it; You abuse it, you lose it.


Appropriate Clothing for Deep South Camp

Casual & Comfortable:

T-shirts (no offensive graphics or slogans) no words on buttocks

Modest shorts and skirts (knee-length or just above) or loose-fitting pants (No tight clothes)

No spaghetti straps or crop tops or low cut top
-
Jeans or joggers for cooler evenings (no sagging pants)
-
Lightweight, breathable fabrics for outdoor activities
-
Closed-toe shoes (no flip-flops or slides)
Swimwear:
-
One-piece swimsuits for girls (no bikinis)

Swim trunks for boys
-
Rash guards (optional for extra sun protection)
-
Swim cover-ups or t-shirts for walking to/from the pool
-
Dress or skirt (knee-length or longer) for girls​
Outerwear:

Lightweight jacket or hoodie for chilly mornings/evenings

Rain jacket or poncho for unexpected showers
Footwear:

Sneakers for hiking and daily activities

Water shoes for swimming/water activities

Flip-flops for the shower only
Extras:

Hat or cap for sun protection

Modest sleepwear (t-shirts and pajama pants/shorts)
